The following recordings are to help you prepare the song, "April is in My Mistress Face." Listen and practice with the part recording to be used in the audition in order to become familiar with the song. Then I suggest you practice with all parts so you can hold your own part when you are singing.
What to expect in the audition process.

We will do some vocal exercises to determine your range, register shifts and overall tone quality.

You will be given a musical pattern to sing back to me to determine your "music memory."

You will be given a simple line to sight read.

You will sing your part in "April is in My Mistress Face" along with the All Parts recording.

You will sing the "The Water is Wide."

You will sing 1 minute of a song of your choice.

You will have a short interview.

You will hand in your Signed Commitment Form and a copy of your Transcript.
